ABOUT THE ELIZABETH RIVER GARDEN CLUB

Since 1927 ERGC has encouraged Conservation, Beautification, and Restoration in our community. We have a legacy of projects and involvement that continues to enhance our environment. The Elizabeth River Garden Club is a proud sponsor and participant in The Garden Club of Virginia's Historic Garden Week...opening homes and gardens to visitors to support important restoration projects in Virginia.

The Elizabeth River Garden Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

ERGC has provided work time, talent, and funding for various phases of the following sites: The Elizabeth River Project's Paradise Creek Nature Park - Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve - 1846 Historic Portsmouth Courthouse Courtyard - Cedar Grove Cemetery - Portsmouth City Park Friendship Garden - Woman's Club of Portsmouth  - The Jewish Museum and Cultural Center - Hill House Museum - Children's  Museum of Virginia...and more.
